Maximise The Chances Of Your Startup Being Seen

May 17, 2017

However inventive and exciting your new business venture is if nobody's heard of it; it’s not going to get very far. To make any impact in the market, you need to be seen by as many people as possible, so a loud brand voice and a savvy plan are key to the success of your fledgling brand.
Bright Ideas
A heavily saturated market means that consumers have seen a lot of marketing ploys before; this is not to say that you cannot take a tried and tested route, but it’s important to put a fresh twist on it that’s unique to your brand identity. If you’re not a natural marketing whizz, try talking to those in the know at networking events; often people are happy to provide golden nuggets of information, as they’ve been there themselves and understand the hard work that’s needed. Getting your brand out there doesn’t have to cost the earth either; for some affordable marketing inspiration, take a look here: http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/threads/50-free-or-cheap-advertising-ideas.155793/.
A Strong Occupancy
You need to build brand strength through your off and online presence. Social media doesn’t (have to) mean posting images of what you ate for brunch; it can be a powerful tool in circulating your business around the internet and where it needs to be. Make sure that your social media handles are strong and are an obvious link to your brand name; doing this will ensure consumers will be able to find you with ease. Ensure your company’s name is clear and strong wherever it occupies the internet, you can choose your social media handles and use sites like www.wizzhosting.co.uk/domain-names/ in order to pick the correct domain name for your business. A consistent brand presence will ensure you’re noticed, and if you’re noticed, online traffic will be heading your way.
Constant Engagement
It’s all very well shouting about who you are and what your business provides; however if you have no contact will potential consumers, then it’s all been pointless. Get a conversation going from the start, even before you’ve officially launched; this way customers will be aware of your brand and excited to see what’s coming next. This is where social media can help (as discussed earlier); you can ask questions and get a sense of what people need and expect from your business. Once you are up and running, keep on running! Be available for excellent customer care, even if said customer is difficult, always go above and beyond to help them; this will keep people coming back, and any online reviews will be positive. Ensure your consumers are your biggest brand ambassadors (another way to get free marketing).
You should already be proud of your business, after all, you haven’t made it this far without a lot of work and determination. If you’re proud, it should be an easy task to be loud and ensure your brand is being seen and heard. Keep the consumer and your brand identity at the core of everything you do, and use any available avenues to promote what you want to sell.
