3 Top Ways To Showcase Brand Personality

October 11, 2019

In a saturated market, it’s vital to know that branding is everything. You can think of your brand as the personality of your business, your story and your values. Branding is also about exactly how you are perceived in the eyes of your customers, other companies and the general public. To stand out in the crowd, it’s crucial to build a brand with a little personality. People don’t want to buy from another grey-business in the crowd! They want to put names to faces of your corporation and see some charisma and common ground. With this in mind, here are three top ways to showcase your brand personality.

Podcasts

Creating a podcast for your business is a fabulous way to showcase your personality. You can use a podcast to explore whatever topics you want plus add some humour to keep your audience entertained. Podcast anecdotes are the perfect way to allow your audience to get to know you. You can establish yourself as an authority leader on specific topics and increase your audience as more people tune in. Podcasts are an excellent way to build a great relationship with your customers. When audiences listen to podcasts, they start to feel that they know the speaker (even if they’ve never met you)! Your customers will find out what they have in common with you and grow to trust your brand over time.

Webinars

Webinars are live online seminars presented by a representative of your business to a large audience of customers and stakeholders. The audience has the opportunity to ask the presenter questions in real-time. Webinars are an excellent opportunity to showcase a new product or service. You can also use webinars to present your knowledge of industry topics. By communicating to your audience in a live video format, you have the perfect opportunity to present your brand personality. Allowing your customers to interact with you live communicates that you are a personable and down to earth company. In a digital world, much interaction with businesses and customers occurs as text behind a screen. In a live video, you can show something extra and get people talking.

Trade shows

Trade shows are the perfect in-person marketing opportunity to get across some brand character! Trade shows are attended by other businesses, the press and sometimes the public (depending on the type of show). When you’re meeting all these people in person, you can really let your brand persona shine.

Take your time to plan some things that will let your company stand out. This could be a quirky product demonstration, a prize giveaway or a killer pitch. When you are designing your brand booth, keep in mind how you want to present yourself. Allow your colours, booth design and aesthetics to reflect how you want to be seen. Choose your booth sizes to represent the atmosphere you’d like to create. Do you want a  trade show booth 10×20 do you need a larger booth?

When it comes to brand personality, the more that your customers admire your character and values, the more that that will trust your brand.
