3 Ways to Showcase Your Business

November 15, 2019

Now that your business is up and running, it is time to show it off. You need to tell the world about what you do, the brilliant products that you have available and the excellent services that you offer. There are several ways that you can do this and today we want to share with a few of our favourites in our 3 ways to showcase your business.

Host a launch party

This is always a great way to get people talking about your business. People like to celebrate with you and this is a fun way to involve all of those people who have helped you to get this far.

We would suggest holding off on the launch party until you have been in business for a few weeks, just to enable you time to iron out any early issues that might crop up. After that you can go full steam ahead and invite as many people as you can to come and find out what you are all about.

Ensure that you have plenty of samples and products available ready for your launch, along with flyers and business cards where appropriate. Invite the local press to visit to give you the opportunity of more coverage.

Trust in yourself to represent your business and work the room throughout the party. You need to believe in yourself and your ability to show off your own business to its best advantage.

Run a digital campaign

Aim to create some noise online and run an eye catching digital campaign.

People spend a lot of their time looking at their phones nowadays, scrolling through social media, reading the press and seeing ads pop up, so it makes sense to try to capitalise on that and move in on that market.

You might create your campaign around a specific product or service that you offer, or you might want to keep it more general and share the news that you are a new business opening up. You might seek to target a specific demographic within your local area, or if your business has a global reach you might shift your focus to an international audience.

It can be worth getting the experts involved in a project like this if you have little experience in this area. You could find out more about Digital PR at Digital Score and get some help and advice around digital marketing.

Make connections

A great way to make a name for yourself is by making connections with other businesses, your local community and potential customers.

Reach out to others within your industry or companies that complement what you do and look for ways that you can work together. You can start cross promoting each other in this way and access potential new customers.

You could see what projects and charities are taking place in your local community that fit well with your brand and values. Form relationships with them to support them, authentically.
Finally, ensure that with every new customer connection that you make, the customer leaves impressed and happy. Happy customers are great at showcasing your business for you.
