Top Tips that will Help your Product Stand Out

October 24, 2018

Designing product packaging isn’t easy to say the least and this is especially the case when you have so much to think about on a day to day basis. After all, you have to think about the colour of your product, the functionality, the audience you are trying to target and so much more. This can be hard work and if you are not careful, you may end up with a product that does not relate to the packaging at all.
Colours
The first thing that you need to do is choose your colours wisely. The colour is the first thing that your customers are going to see so you need to make sure that yours is attractive. The most attractive designs use very warm colours as this helps the product to stand out. If you are not quite sure which colours to use with your brand then you might want to think about the product that you are trying to sell. If you are selling bath products, then blue, turquoise, teal and marine colours are the way to go. If you are trying to sell candles then opt for warm and sensual colours such as dark purple, red, orange and more.
Be Specific
The last thing that you want to do is leave your customers not knowing what your product actually does. They need to be able to find the information they need quickly and efficiently. You also need to make sure that you include any allergy information, nutritional information or anything else if it is relevant. If your product can be included in a recipe then make sure that you detail this because this will really help you to push through and get that sale.
Easy to Open Packaging
People hate fussy packaging. If your product has fussy packaging then this doesn’t mean that your customers won’t buy it in a shop, but it does mean that they will experience frustration when they get home and this is the last thing that you need. Try and make sure that your product is easy to get out of the packaging and try and provide openings for them where possible. When you do this, you can easily really make the most out of your customer experience.
Vibrancy
If you are putting labels on your product then it is so important that you are able to keep them vibrant. The last thing that you need is dull colour or labels that are not of the highest quality. For this reason, you should always invest in the best service you can as this will help you to get more customers. Sites such as  label.co.uk are great for this and you would be surprised at how easy it is for you to really get something that reflects your product personality.
So there are many things that you can do to try and make your product stand out and when you put the work in, you would be surprised at how easy it is for you to really rocket your sales.
